Our live podcast will feature a panel of three incredible women who are making an impact in Aussie Ag and are passionate about the future of the industry.

Elle Moyle, Pathfinder Angus

Elle Moyle is a farmer, vet, and company director.

Graduating Charles Sturt University in 2014, Elle worked overseas in the Middle East and USA, and Australia in private practice throughout South Australia and Northern Queensland. For six years she has worked for Agriculture Victoria as a District Veterinarian, however, has recently resigned to pursue her expanding family and farming interests. At 27 Elle bought her first property where she runs composite ewes and Angus cattle.

Elle is involved in the family business, Pathfinder Angus Stud, which sells over 600 bulls annually across Australia.

Elle has been named Australian Cattle Council Victorian Rising Champion and a finalist for the Zanda McDonald Award, alumni of the National Rural Womens Coalition, a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Within the community, Elle is a lieutenant and volunteer firefighter with the local CFA and a passionate member and executive for the local Landcare group.

Rebecca Underwood, Nutrien Ag Solutions

A highly regarded agribusiness professional with over 20 years’ experience in Australian agribusiness, Rebecca is currently the National Sustainability Field Manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions. Nutrien is the world’s largest provider of crop inputs, services and solutions, with a footprint of retail outlets across rural and regional Australia, and the globe.

Rebecca started her career as an agronomist in central west NSW and has since held various senior commercial agribusiness roles, including as the National Seed Manager for Nutrien.

Based in Albury, Rebecca is passionate about providing profitable and sustainable agricultural solutions to Australian farmers. She is also a founding member of the Nutrien Ag Solutions Diversity & Inclusion committee.

Rebecca holds a Master of Agriculture and a Graduate Certificate in Commerce and has completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations course through Oxford University. Rebecca is also a graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a current director of Landcare Australia.

Georgia Beattie, Bulla Park Mushrooms

CEO and MD of Bulla Park. Deputy Chair of the Australian Mushroom Growers Association, Non-Executive Director of Rowing Australia, Second Bite and Australian Certified Organic, Advisory Board Member Law Squared, and Climate Change and National Soil Strategy Committee for the National Farmers’ Federation.

Georgia began her career studying entrepreneurship at Babson College, Boston, and RMIT, Melbourne. Shortly after finishing her University degrees, Georgia raised seed capital to found wine startup Lupé Wines in 2011. Lupé Wines specialised in supplying events, airlines, and hotel minibars with the world’s first single-serve glass of wine designed for ease of use. The company expanded quickly across Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and China. Lupé was listed as top 10 startups to watch by BRW and Georgia was listed as Top 50 Entrepreneurs to watch in 2015. In 2016 the company was successfully acquired.

Georgia took on the CEO role at Startup Victoria from 2016-2018 to help organise the startup ecosystem from her experience as an Australian entrepreneur. Startup Victoria is the go-to independent startup body for Victoria that focuses on creating more founders and better founders with over 30,000 members.

Georgia is now CEO and shareholder of Bulla Park, Australia’s largest organic mushroom farm. She specialises in high-performance farming embracing the use of technology and innovation to achieve fast growth and scale in agriculture. Bulla Park has 80 employees over 2 farms in Victoria and is focused on creating clean food via environmentally clean agriculture practices.

In 2021 Georgia was awarded an International Nuffield Scholarship to write a thesis on soil regeneration within agriculture and methods to sustainably grow mushrooms on spent coffee beans.
